TURKEY, Ottoman Empire, Mehmed V (1909-1918), State Notes of the Ministry of Finance, specimen one thousand livres, AH1333 (1917), A 0000, signed Cavid on front, unsigned on back, Specimen in Arabic perforated at signature (P.107s; Gaciroglu RS-6-4). Slight crease in top right corner, minor creases around margins, otherwise good extremely fine and excessively rare.
Gaciroglu states that an issued example of this note is unique. Unpriced in Pick. A typed list with the collection indicates that 5,210 were printed.
