AUSTRALIAN JOINT STOCK BANK, first issue, uniface black and white printer's proof on paper, five pounds, Brisbane, 1st Jany 1870, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, 'to this 14th June 1870' in pencil at Manager signature reserve (MVR 1b). Remnants of glue marks on back, otherwise good extremely fine and very rare.
