THRACE, Abdera, (375/3-365/360 B.C.), silver drachm, (2.36 g), obv. Griffin springing to left of base with both forelegs raised, below **PAUSANIW*, rev. within linear square with Apollo laureate head to right, in field around **ABD HR[I TEW]N*, (cf.S.1552, May [Coinage of Abdera] 482-493, BMC 57). Short on flan, good very fine and very scarce.
