IONIA, Ephesos, (202-c.150 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.16 g), obv. bee with straight wings dividing E - **F*, dotted border, rev. stag standing to right, palm tree behind, to right magistrate's name **[P]AUSANIA[S]* (Pausanias) (cf.S.4387, Kinns Num. Chron. 1999 [p.89], SNG von Aulock 1850). Toned, very fine and rare.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 109 (lot 3640) and from the Clive Shute Collection and Paul Munro Walker, Bournemouth (Coin Dealer), 8.12.1971.
