JUDEA, issued in the Persian Period (c.380-332 B.C), silver half gerah, (0.26 g), obv. head of the Persian king wearing jagged crown facing right, rev. falcon, wings spread, head right, in right field, [YHD] off-flan a retrograde legend going outwards), (Hendin, 1059a, Meshorer 9). Toned, very fine and rare.

Ex Antiqua (Steve Rubinger), USA and previously from NAC auction No 64, May 17-18, 2012 (lot 1705).
