PARTHIA, Mithradates II, (121-91 B.C.), silver drachm (4.07 g), Ekbatana mint, obv. diademed and draped bust left, wearing tiara with ear flap, long beard, and torque ending in sea-horse, all within pelleted border, rev. **BASILEêS BAS ILEWN MEGALOU ARSAKOU/EPIFANOU* (S retrograde), archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow. (S.7372, cf.Sellwood 28.3; cf. Shore 97). Extremely fine, lightly toned.

Ex CNG Triton XIII, January 5-6, 2010 (lot 575) and comes from the Todd A. Ballen Collection.
