M. AUFIDIUS RUSTICUS, (140 B.C.), silver denarius (3.86 g), Revaluation issue, Rome mint, obv. helmeted head of Roma right, XVI (mark of value) behind RVS before, rev. Jupiter driving a galloping quadriga to right, holding a whip, sceptre and reins, M AVF below, ROMA in exergue, (S.105, Cr. 227/1, Sydenham 446, RSC Aufidia 1). Very fine or better and rare.
