GALBA, (A.D. 68-69), AE sestertius, (24.38 g), Rome mint, issued A.D. 68, obv. laureate draped bust of Galba to right, around SER GALBA IMP CAES AVG TR P, rev. Libertas standing to left, holding pileus and vertical rod, around LIBERTAS PVBLICA, S C across, (cf.S.2118 var., RIC 387, BMC 68). Brown patina, attractive fine and scarce.
