VITELLIUS, (A.D. 69), silver denarius, issued May-July 69, Rome mint, (2.97 g), obv. laureate head to right of Vitellius, around A VITELLIVS GERM IMP AVG TR P, rev. Libertas standing facing, head right, holding pileus and long sceptre, LIBERTAS RESTITVTA, (S.2198, BMC 20, RIC 105, RSC 47). Toned, very fine and rare.
