ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 155-6, (3.78 g), obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P IMP II, laureate head to right, rev. TR POT XIX COS IIII, Pietas standing facing, head left, her hands resting on the heads of two children standing either side of her, (S.4125, RIC 453a, RSC 992a). Toned, nearly extremely fine.
