ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE sestertius, (30.58 g), Rome mint, issued A.D. 147-148, obv. laureate draped bust of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XI, rev. Annona standing to left, holding corn-ears over modius and anchor, around ANNONA AVG, in exergue COS IIII, S C across field, (cf.S.4147, RIC 840, C.39). Dark brown patina, attractive very fine/good fine and scarce in this condition.
