Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, bee to left on side in left field, **[ALEX]ANDROU* to right, spear head in outer right field. (cf.S.6730, Price 1937, BMC 1937, M.322, SNG Cop. 952); Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, (d.A.D. 141), silver denarius, (2.97 g), issued A.D. 143 at Rome mint, obv. DIVA [FA]V STINA, draped bust to right, rev. AETERNITAS, Aeternitas standing left holding a globe and sceptre, (S.4575, RIC 350a, RSC 34) (illustrated); Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Emesa mint, issued A.D. 194, (3.68 g), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around IMP CAE L SEP SEV PERT AVG COS II, rev. around BONA SPES, Spes standing left, holding flower and lifting skirt, (S.6266, RIC 364, RSC 58) (illustrated).
