ANASTASIUS I, (A.D. 491-518), AE follis (large module), issued 512-517, Constantinople mint, (17.10 g), obv. diademed draped bust to right, around DN ANASTA SIVS AVC, rev. M over mintmark, CON, Officina E, stars either side cross above M, (S.19, DOC 23j.1, BMC 18-29, R.338). Dark green patina, large flan, very fine.

Ex Decades Collection and previously from CNG sale 79 December 17, 2003 (lot 159).
