JUSTINIAN I, (A.D. 527-565), AE follis, Constantinople mint, issued year 15 = 541-2, officina A, (22.13 g), obv. Justinian bust facing, rev. M, year X/U, CON in exergue, large flan, (S.163, DOC.40d, cf.BMC 62). Green patination, large flan, otherwise very fine.

Ex Decades Collection and previously from CNG esale 86 March 31, 2004 (lot 99), weight incorrectly noted, with CNG ticket.
