FAMILY SINGLES: First Issue: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899, - three clasps - Cape Colony, Driefontein, Transvaal. 453 Pte A.Abbott N.S.Wales M.R.; Second Issue: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899. 451 Tpr, Abbott N.S.W. M.I.; Brother-in-Law: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899, - clasp - South Africa 1902. 2099 Pte G.R.Lamb Aust:Com.H. All medals impressed. Three single medals, extremely fine.

The first medal was returned by Trooper Abbott explaining that as No.453 was not his service number that the medal and three clasps were not his. Another QSA was sent correcting the issue.

Archibald Abbott (New South Wales), 1st NSW Mounted Rifles, Murray page 68. Gilbert Rumney Lamb (Tasmanian and brother-in-law to Archibald Abbott), 3rd Battalion Australian Commonwealth Horse, Murray page 572.

Together with four single pages of service record and two photocopy photographs.
