AUSTRALIA, original 30th Bn pith helmet, khaki with separate original puggaree (rare), headband marked 'Col Sjt J J Bennett A Coy 30th Bn NSW Scottish Regiment'. Very fine and scarce.
The 1938 Nominal Roll for 30 Bn lists Col Sjt J J Bennett as CQMS, A Coy. He was also awarded a Marksman badge in 1938.
