JAPANESE KATANA, in shirasaya, blade signed 'Katsu Mitsu', signature folded over and reset into tang (orikaeshi-Mei meaning Turned-back signature), three tang holes, Koto period pre 1600s, Japanese custom's certificate wrapped around shirasaya. Good blade, very fine - extremely fine.
Together with NTHK (Nihon Token Hozon Kai) authentication papers and very large black metal and mesh carry case with locks and foam padded interior.
