AUSTRALIA IN THE GREAT WAR, c1918, printed by Cassell & Company, London, hard cover (19.5x26.7cm), 192pp, a pictorial record, written in pen on front fly page, 'To Mother from Lance with best love'. Some small damage to spine and cover edge, some light foxing at front and back pages, otherwise fine.
In the Foreword by the Minister of Defence he states, 'It is proposed to issue "Australia in the Great War" in eight parts, to be published at intervals of four weeks.'. 'The net profits from the sale of :Australia in the Great War" will be devoted to the Australian Soldiers' Repatriation Fund.'
