N(EW) S(OUTH) W(ALES) F(IRE) B(RIGADE) HELMETS, late 1800s, made of brass finished bronze with leather liners and chin straps of leather and brass finish, impressed on underside, Rider & Bell Pty Ltd, Makers, one size 7, and number 3958 on edge, others sizes 6 7/8, 7, 7 1/8 (2), 7 3/8 (2), and another size 7 1/4, and number 3866 on edge . The first very fine, most brass finish worn off the others, otherwise fine. (8)
