PERU, Charles II, (1665-1700), contemporary gold two escudos as a copy of cob two reales, 1699R (7.924 grams), obv. arms of Castille and Leon, 99 below, rev. two columns and date 99, (cf.KM.21). Has been mounted, apparently cast from original two reales, fine and unusual.
