CHINA, a collection of coins (497), 750 B.C. - 20th century, including early period cowries, bronze pu - spade, fish, bridge and knife monies, sycee 'shoe', 3/5, 3/4, 1, 5 and 12 taels, chop marked coins, Spain, pillar dollar, Phillip V, 1742M; Phillip VI, 1752, Lima mint; Great Britain, trade dollar, 1899; one cash - one hundred cash, also small selection of Japanese coins (58), Annam/Vietnam (39), Korea (2), and other world coins (105), mostly modern including Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, New Hebrides, New Caledonia. The majority of the items in the collection are annotated in detail and are presented in a twin door, wooden cabinet with twenty three drawers (H.420mm, W.490mm, D.340mm), together with a box containing the balance of cash monies (244). Fair - extremely fine. (945)
