ROYAL SOCIETY OF TASMANIA, 1843-1943, centenary award medal in silver (63mm), by Stokes Melb, obverse, King's crown above name, 'Royal Society of/Tasmania/Founded/14 October 1843', reverse, eucalyptus twig with gum nuts and beside the dates, 1843/1943', below, 'Awarded To', unnamed. In unofficial Stokes & Sons case, one very small edge nick, otherwise uncirculated.
