GERMANY, North, Quedlinburg, Agnes I (1110-1125), silver half bracteate obv. crowned head with face over two walls, rev. bust of Abbess facing, (See R.Hokken , Achiv fur Brakteatenkunde I-IV, Vienna 1886-1906, Pl.13 No.1). Toned very fine and rare.
Ex Baldwin's with ticket and previously from A.Cahn Sale (lot 660).
