AUSTRALIA IN ARMS, a narrative of the Australasian Imperial Force and their achievement at Anzac, by Phillip F.E.Schuler, 1st edition 1916, hard cover (15x22.4cm), 328pp with maps and illustrations; The Story of the Anzacs, an historical account of the part taken by Australia and New Zealand in the Great War from the outbreak in August 1914 until the evacuation of Gallipoli in December 1915, published by James Ingram & Sons, Melbourne, 1917, hard cover (18.5x25cm), 153pp with b&w photos and maps, inscribed on fly page, 'To Stan from ??? 4/Nov/1917'. The first with previous owner's name neatly whited out at front, some foxing, cover slightly loose at front, otherwise good and rare 1st edition, the second with foxing on fly pages, otherwise fine. (2)
