QUEEN VICTORIA, Sydney Mint half sovereign, pattern of second type, 1855, with wreathed head by L.C.Wyon. Trace of mint bloom in the lettering and devices, scratched to left of crown, a circulated example, nearly very fine and excessively rare.

Ex Spink Australia Sale 15 (lot 474), sold with a Certificate of Authenticity from Barrie Winsor of Winsor & Sons, dated 18 July 2007.
