CHARLES I, (1625-1649), Tower mint under king, silver crown, mm harp, issued 1632-3, Group II, type 2b2, (29.69 grams), rev. plumes over shield between C R, single pellet stops in legend, shield with cross fourchee, (S.2757, N.2194, Cooper XII/XVII, Brooker 251 [this coin]). Toned, round and attractive, fine/good fine and rare.

Ex Downies Melbourne, Sale 181, 28 August 1984 (lot 705) and the Cornwall Collection, previously from the John Brooker Collection (No.251).
