A GROUP OF MEDALS AND MEDALETS, 1850-1988, mostly in white metal, including Prince of Wales, c1850, (27mm) by Allen & Moore (BHM 2383) in brass box; Exhibitions, 1851 (BHM 2432); 1862 (BHM 2739); Worsley Hall, 1851 (BHM 2414); Shipwreck Mariners Society, 1869 (unlisted); Samuel Plimsoll, 1875 (BHM 3015 gilt); Manchester Ship Canal, 1894 (Eimer 1788 + one unlisted); Queen Victoria, Jubilee, 1897 (BHM 3514); Battle of Jutland, 1916 (BHM 4124); Spanish Armada Quadricentenary, 1988 (unlisted, gilded) some rare. Some pierced at top, very good - nearly uncirculated. (11)
