Cybele seated in chariot to right drawn by two lions, letters K**Q* above, M.VOLTEI. M.F. in exergue, (S.315, Cr.385/4, Syd.777, RSC. Volteia 4); another, silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.69 g), obv. head of Liber or Bacchus to right, wearing ivy wreath, rev. Ceres standing in chariot to right drawn by two serpents, control symbol behind, M.VOLTEI. M.F. in exergue, (S.314, Cr.385/3, Syd.776, B. Volteia 3). Toned, nearly very fine - very fine, both scarce. Mommsen notes that the first coin was struck in reference to the Ludi Megalenses in honour of the goddess Cybele.
