MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 174, (3.33 g), obv. laureate abust cuirassed of Marcus Aurelius to right, around M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVIII, rev. IMP VI COS III, Mars advancing to right, holding spear and trophy, (cf.S.4907, BMC 586 note, RIC 286, RSC 254b); Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, (d.A.D. 141) silver denarius, (3.16 g), obv. DIVA FAVSTINA, draped bust to right, rev. AVGVSTA, throne with sceptre against it, peacock in front to right, (cf.S.4579, RIC 376, RSC 132c). First coin very fine, second very good and scarce. (2)
