CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 210, Rome mint, (2.84 g), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. Virtus in military dress, standing to half right, foot on helmet, holding parazonium and reversed spear, around PONTIF TR P XIII COS III, (cf.S.6872, RIC 117a, RSC 477). Good very fine.
