CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 213, Rome mint, (2.87 g), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. Hercules naked, standing half left, holding branch and club with lion skin, around P M TR P XVI COS IIII P P, (S.6828, RIC 206a, RSC 220). Nearly extremely fine.
