AUSTRALIAN JOINT STOCK BANK, five pounds printer's proof, uniface, black and white, on paper, Newcastle, 18- (c1859), imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co, London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, SPECIMEN stamped in Manager reserve, '13th August 1861' written in pencil bottom margin (MVR.1b). Some staining, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare.
