CHINA, Communist Bank, Szechuan-Shensi Provincial Soviet Workers and Farmers Bank, 1933 issue, three ch'uan on white cloth, (P.S3219a, Smith & Maltravers 'Chinese Banknotes' C242-11a). Fine - very fine and rare. (4)
One of the most interesting of Chinese Communist issues being made from cloth calico bags. This group comes from a deceased estate, the person escaped from China to Taiwan c.1950 with these and other Chinese notes.
