ST JOHN'S SCHOOL DARLINGHURST, prize medal, 1889, in silver (44mm), reverse inscribed, 'Emma Maude Clarke/Junior Examination/1889'. Toned good very fine.

St John's Parochial School, an Anglican school at Darlinghurst, Sydney, NSW. It was reported on 31 October 1889 that Emma Maude Clarke had been successful at the Junior Public Examination held in conjunction with the University of Sydney. Her results were as follows:- English History B; Geography B; English A; Physics B; Geology B.
