ADMIRAL VERNON, He Took Porto Bello, 1739, in bronze (36mm), obverse, legend starts 'The British Glory Revived', Vernon full length with ship at left and canon at right, sword in right hand and baton in left pointing at M, reverse, six ships in harbour with buildings, steeple at E, spire right of O and tower at I (Adams & Chao PBvi 18-CC). Good fine.
