THRACE, Odessos, (c.80-72/1 B.C.), silver tetradrachm (16.43 g), in the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon as a Mithradatic alliance issue, obv. Head of Herakles right, with the features of Mithradates VI of Pontos, wearing lion skin, rev. Zeus Aetophoros seated left; **LAKW* in left field, **ODH* in exergue, **BASILEWS* to right, **ALEXANDROU* in left field, (cf.S.6713, Callatay group 3, dies D5/R7, Topalov, Odessos 32, Price 1193, M.429). Nearly extremely fine, lightly toned.
