SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Laodicea ad Mare, Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-211), silver tetradrachm, (13.47 g), issued 208, obv. laureate and draped head of Septimius Severus to right, around AYT KAI CEOYHPOC CE, rev. eagle standing facing, head to right, wreath in beak, around **DHMARX EE YPATOCTO T*, (S.2261, Prieur 1149, McAlee, Severan, Group 3, 25). Extremely fine with an exceptionally good portrait.
