HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 134, Rome mint, (2.71 g), obv. bare head to right of Hadrian, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. Roma in military dress standing left, holding spear and clasping right hands with Hadrian who stands right holding roll, around ADVENTVS AVG, (cf.S.3455, RIC 226, RSC 80). Well centred, toned, very fine and scarce.
