CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 213, Rome mint, (2.87 g), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. Hercules naked, standing half left, holding branch and club with lion skin, around P M TR P XVI COS IIII P P, (S.6828, RIC 206b, RSC 221). Toned, nearly extremely fine.
