IONIA, Ephesus, Octavian, with Mark Antony and Lepidus, (43-33 B.C.), AE unit (5.30 g), obv. Jugate bare heads of Octavian, Mark Antony, and Lepidus to right, rev. **ARCIEREUS GRAM GLAUKWN EFE POLEMAIOS across fields in six lines, facing cult statue of Artemis (Diana) Ephesia, (S.-, RPC I 2572A, cf.Sear Imperators 729 [different magistrate], cf.BMC 193, cf.SNG Cop. 358). Fine with black-green patina with traces of lighter olive overtones.

Ex Dr. Adrian Carr Collection and purchased from Henri Delger in 2002, with ticket ($300).
Struck in Ionia, Ephesus to commemorate the second triumvirate.
