MACEDON, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.27 g), Mylasa mint, issued 310-300 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, dotted border, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, to left monogram of X**W*, **[AL]EXANDR[OU]* to right, under throne EY, (S.6730, Price 2479, BMC 2479, M.1581). Toned with golden highlights, good very fine and scarce.
