TROAS, Alexandria Troas, (c.3rd century A.D.), AE 21, (3.77 g), obv. turreted head of City-Goddess to right, behind vexillum inscribed CO over AV, around CO ALE[XA TRO], rev. eagle wings spread standing to right, carrying head of bull in talons, around COL A VG, in exergue TRO, (S.4917,Bellinger 490, cf.BMC 53/54). Dark green patina, nearly extremely fine, an unusual reverse type.
