IONIA, Colophon, (190-30 B.C.), AE 19, (6.49 g), Apollas magistrate, obv. Homer with scroll sitting left, head supported on his left hand, to left **APOLLAS*, rev. Apollo Kitharoides walking right, to left **KOLOFWNI[WN]*, (Milne 178, BMC 42, SNG Von Aulock 2017). Deep brown/green patina, nearly very fine and rare.

An interesting depiction of the poet Homer.
