SYRIA, kingdom of, Philip Philadelphos, (93-83 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (12.60 g), Antioch mint, obv. head of Philip to right, with diademed, fillet border, rev. Zeus seated to left, on throne holding Nike, legends left and right **[B]ASILE[WS] FILIPPOU EPIFANOUS [FIL]ADEL[FOU]*, (S.7196, SMA 437, SNG Israel I (Spaer) 2799). Short on flan, otherwise toned, very fine.
