BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Euthydemos, (c.230/225-200 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.09 g), Balkh mint series D workshop, obv. diademed bust of king Euthydemos to right, rev. naked Herakles seated to left on a pile of stones, holding club, to right **BASILEWS, to left **EUQUDHMOU*, H**F* monogram to lower right, (S.7515, Mitchiner type 95c, BMC 2-3, SNG ANS 124-7 [Pl.7], Bopearachchi Series 5B). Hoard patination and dark colour, otherwise very fine and rare.
