EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-204 B.C.), AE 32, hemidrachm, (36.06 g), Alexandria mint, obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, cornucopiae to left, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU, between legs **LI*, dotted border, (cf.S.7843, Sv.1128, SNG Milan 213-3, SNG Cop. 219, Pitchfork 51, Koln 52 [attributes issue to Ptolemy II between 253-249 B.C.). Very fine and rare.
