NERO, (A.D. 54-68), silver denarius, issued c.66-67, Rome mint, (3.44 g), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, around NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. Salus seated left on throne, holding patera, SALVS in exergue, (cf.S.1945, RIC 52, BMC 90, RSC 314). A nice example, dull grey patina, very fine and rare in this condition.
