ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 140, (3.50 g), obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P COS III, laureate head to right, rev. ITA LIA, Italia in turreted crown seated left on globe, holding cornucopia and sceptre, (S.-, RIC 73, RSC 463). Lightly toned, very fine and scarce.
