SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarii, obv. laureate head to right, (3.27 g), rev. Victory to right, with shield attached to palm, (S.6340, RIC 211); (2.57 g), rev. Mars advancing to right, (S.6327, RIC 52); (3.65 g), rev. Bacchus standing half left, on left, panther, (cf.S.6307, RIC 99). Very fine or better. (3)
