GALERIUS MAXIMIAN, as Caesar, (A.D. 305-311), AE folles, Heraclea mint, issued A.D. 297-8, (9.07 g), obv. laureate head of Galerius to right, around GAL VAL MAXIMIANVS NOB CAES, rev. around GENIO POPV L I ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, in exergue HTS, (S.14372, RIC 20b). With trace of silvering, green patination, extremely fine and very scarce as such.
